This series of work is about ‘Catharsis’ – a process of releasing, and thereby providing relief from strong or repressed emotions. In this process I choose to Draw. Drawing is an independent means of expression to me. I started to draw a 99cm x 43cm feet long canvas with a pen. And it leads me to polyptych drawing series.

In pandemic, where we spent over a year in our homes, it gives us the space to understand the relationship between the smallest phenomena of nature, the connection that evolves in the short span of time and the impact of those incidents towards our life. I look into our life trajectory through the closed window and try to read the images which are created in our conscious mind. In these drawings the metaphorical representation and distortion is to reveal personal feelings towards Mother Nature. 

In the midst of chaos around us, sometimes these small events in nature, teach us to understand the vitality of life.
