Into the yarn, out in the One

Pen on plywood & wall _ 20’ft x 20’ft X 10’ft _ (2019 – 2020)
Into the Yarn, Out in the One began as a reflection on connection—between humans, nature, and the hidden threads that weave life together. I built a sculpted white table composed of 18 panels at different levels, forming a two-way spiral that echoes the shape of a shell. The spiral became a way to trace movement, evolution, and the flow of energy.
Around the table, 350 wooden blocks carry drawings that extend this web of connections onto the walls, creating a dialogue between the table, the blocks, and the space itself. Each block offers a small story, a pattern, or a rhythm, inviting viewers to slow down, notice, and explore.
This work grew from a mix of careful observation, personal reflection, and intuition. I wanted to create a space that is both playful and meditative, where viewers can move through, bend down, look closer, and experience the work from different angles—discovering new layers as they go.
The installation is a meditation on interconnection, cycles, and the invisible ties that link all life. It asks viewers to pause, feel, and wonder about the subtle threads that carry energy, memory, and presence through time. Into the Yarn, Out in the One is an invitation to enter a world where seeing, moving, and sensing are all part of the journey.
